Why?
Mine never gave me big time issues they have been great for 2 years replaced one but since then great
Reference is only for those who choose not to wait till another 2 months for a after market cooling
AMD should really be ashamed that they do this all the time I mean would it kill them to just make one that looks cool
They must have some old has been in the chair giving them styles to choose form I mean really weak looking covers
Well to the contrary reference cards perform less then aftermarket that's a fact if it made no difference I wouldn't have flashed mine to the aftermarket Bios WOOOT !
Also Aftermarket has better cooling hence they bump it up more and charge more the extra $60 you pay on a GPU is for the cooling
well yea, that's what I was getting at. why would you buy reference when AM is always better and usually the same price? at least for AMD
Well look at it from this stand point I know what I am doing when it comes to Transforming the card to the better version
Some people don't have a idea on how to make a reference card the same as aftermarket and some would not be bothered with it
People like me will take these cards flash them even add water and have these cards flippin mad faster over the AM
I am running reference coolers and Im' reaching 70 max on Unigene Extreme test that is damn good for a reference coolers and my fans 75% but what are you going to do right have to make the sacrifice
Reference is Cheaper by $60 to $ 70 dollars too
ok yea, but AM still offers better components and power delivery. allowing longer overall life and higher OC's
Far as I know the PCB is the same I have one Black and One Blue so if color was a factor I would bet Blue is the AM PCB
Anyway I can get these cards a little higher then some AM which is pretty solid
I mean come on Vapor X hits like 1300/core and 1600 mem again from 925/1375 to 1175/1570 look at the gap
