I have mounted computers to pegboard, I shouldn't toss about stones.
    Thats a PC???
Upper right hand corner are 2 Raspberry Pi's, each Pi is connected to 4, 10 port usb nubs running 30 asic block erupters. It's a bitcoin mine, currently crunching out $10 a day.

Well it's original, i'll give you that! Does it not topple over? I would have thought some of the stand would have needed to be at the front due to all the weight being on the front? Any plans to paint the MDF or is that the finished article?

far from finished only took me an hour to play with , and it did topple over on its own when i only put the wood together, so i put little feet out of wood on the front only to tilt it back , and along with the disc drive and Powersupply at the back it doesn't topple over but i might mod it a bit more

    Paint:

My Dad works for bell decorating and so did i before i got lade of so we have a vast variety of gloss emulation flexarb, eggshell , and loads of water based masonry paints , ranging from black red green council classic blue for the flat doors / fire doors etc.

Very intriguing! Have you considered covering the MDF with self-adhesive shelf liner or perhaps wallpaper? Maybe find a holographic sheet, that would be eye bending.

Quoted another post on this thread as well about this :P , Me and my dad ( me being ex that is ) Decorators so plenty variety of paint colors and paint types :P

SO basically i got bored of my old rig and built a new one.

I also couldn't be arsed with a new case so b&q Did my proud

Got to work with the angly Grinder and removed my motherboard tray out of my pc and mounted it on to MDF 2ft squared and built a stand.

Heres what i came up with.

Gigayte MotherBoard Locked down with a AMD Bulldozer 6Core Unlocked Edition CPU Oc'd

    Kingstons Hyper x 8GB Kit 1666Mhz

    XFX HD4850 1GB

    WD Caviar SE 320GB SATA

    WD Scorpio Blue 250GB SATA

I thought its bad to leave a hard drive sideways
    .

Well Thats brilliant that you mentioned that because the hard-drive there has developed / encountered some sort of read write issue when loading windows 8 (weather thats coincidental or cause of putting it on its side ) its partitioned aswell but when i put that hard-drive in my external harddrive controller it worked fine ish apart from telling me the windows was corrupt. i think it said a windows logon . exe or startup.exe file was corrupt or missing :P i will just re install it when i can be arse

You could encase it in glass and make a painting type case ( with proper ventilation of course ). Instead of a painting, you would have a computer in your frame :) And please tell me you put rubber separators between the HDD and the MDF on the screws. In fact I would go for rubber separators on all screws used to mount the main board. Just to lower the overall vibrations. MDF is a bit stiff. But A+++ for originality.
the Hard-drives not mounted straight to the MDF its mounted with one of the antec 5.14inch drive bay adapter spacers for 2.5inch hard-drives and card readers and that was screwed / clamped to the board :P and there wasnt any vibrations excessive any more that it was when it was in the computer case

Now thats pretty sick :P haha i love it and the way the decals is mounted like a canvas is an amazing idea and instead of painting is i could allways contact my friend that works at a print works and get me a design done on to silk screening , that cost me although a2 and smaller cost me nothing
