    upgrade air cooler

Since my watercooling experiment in a Cooler Master Silencio 550 case has failed because a shop sold me a defective radiator, I'm going to stay with an air cooler for now. I'll retry watercooling when I'll get a new case since I have already got all the components.

Now, I need to upgrade my Cooler Master Hyper TX3 EVO because my i7 3770K @4 GHz is getting hot when using software like Agisoft PhotoScan.

Any suggestion? I need a silent cooler when the CPU is lightly loaded...

Are these good coolers? Will they otperform coolers like Cooler Master V8 GTS or similar?

Others can chime in if they have used one. I have read really good things about them. I tried the a coolermaster N520, but it would not seat good for me. The hyper 212 evo is a really good cooler also. If you have the room for it, I would say the Noctua is the best of them.

I have a lot of space in my case, I was looking at ZALMAN CNPS12X 120mm because it is near Noctua NH-D14 performance but costs less and has got better looking.
Maybe a corsair hydro series would be better, but I have only 1 back fan which pull out hot air from the case, and with a liquid cooler my airflow will get totally blocked.

If the Zalman will help temps in a good way I'll get it. will it be quiet as the Hyper TX3 Evo when my CPU will be in idle?

With lots of room in your case and you want to OC and run quiet then really why waste time and just get the best !

What about the Thermalight Silver Arrow SB-E? It should be 4c Celsius cooler than the Noctua best cooler...
I'm going to overclock my i7 3770k to 4.6-4.7 GHz without watercooling...

You can never get exact numbers on coolers based on others tests. My Intel water cooler got mediocre reviews by almost everybody that tested it.....but it outperforms 99% of comparable air/water coolers by a healthy margin according to those same tests.

Can you take some pictures of your setup, specifically inside the case?

I would put them in the same ballpark. The Noctua should be very quiet.
