    You're welcome Patrick, they will always have the most up-to-date drivers. In fact when I get a new board, I don't even open the CD, I download everything from ASUS and pout them all on a USB drive.

    The network drivers at the Asus site are Intel drivers. same thing.

    ok so i got everything runnning. i just need to install some more things. 2 things i noticed. 1 the boot time is a lot slower then my AMD rig (drivers are out of date, but still....). 2 i was playing around with my RAM and trying to to get it to run at its rated speed, and for some reason, no matter what i do in the bios, it no worky.....

    Used the XMP profile? Updated the BIOS?

    actual windows loading. and XMP does NOTHING! this ram is refusing to run at any other speed then 1600 11-11-11-31. even tho its set in bios to its stock 1866 9-10-9-28......

    This could be a Bios update issue try that first and see if the bios effects stability that is always where you need to look first

    Some of these boards have been shelf bound for over a year and most likely never been updated even though it went RMA refurbished or what ever

    Rule of thumb update everything first then play with settings it only makes sense if you are looking for the full power and use of a system

    the bios was already up to date..... i rolled back to aan earlier version, and sam issue. nothing sticks.

    Try each stick alone see if it's the ram
