Its it possible to over clock the intel 3570 non k version on a H61 motherboard, this is the board i have

If you look at this chart it isn't able to Overclock it has to be a K version Intel Core i5-3570 vs i5-3570K
Could the OP not raise the FSB to overclock the rig? That's how to do it with an AMD with a locked multiplier. You have to be more careful with your memory speed and timings, but it can be done. Sometimes you get better performance over increasing the multiplier.
Raising the bus frequency will raise the CPU clock. It uses the locked multiplier on a higher FSB.

Yes and probably a little more. Go in the Overclocking section of your BIOS and change from auto to 40, that is 200mhz more than the turbo oc. If using turbo, in the OC section of BIOS, go to CPU features and set each core to 40. This will give you 4GHZ.
You might get 4.1 or 4.2 if you try.
You would need an unlocked K chip to get more.
