I have never had one (FRIO) in hand, but from the reviews I have seen it can cool pretty well, but the cooling comes at the cost of decibels - it is reported to be very loud full speed.

Just put a new copy of w7 pro on sisters laptop by phone. Just one quick question. Will a format of the drive get rid of it completely? Nod32 says its in the operating memory.
