And once again, it will only run at 2666/2800 if you enable XMP in the Bios, so you are looking at price here. Why pay x amount of dollars for 2400 when you can get 2666 for less :)

2400 is a bit more money because more people are buying it.

This set is $10 cheaper and it`s CL15 :) I think it`s the one you listed above.

    Dominator(R) Platinum Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR4 DRAM 2666MHz C15 Memory Kit (CMD16GX4M4A2666C15)

And I just noticed there`s no back plate on the black edition, that`s stupid so screw that.

Thanks again for all the input I getting.
Even with all the time I have spent researching things I still need help. That is what new people to building a new system don't seem to want to do. The research is a must.

I can build the system is less time than it takes to do the research.

This system will take a little longer than normal to build because I can't stand very long because of the surgery I have just had. The surgery was done to help me walk. Now I have to just wait and see if the surgery helped or hurt my walking problem. It seem to get better each day but it might take to spring to really know.

This has been the most painful recovery I have ever had after surgery and I have had a lot of surgery in my younger days.

Gun shot wound took about 300 stitches.
    Double hernia surgery.
    Open heart surgery.
    Removed appendix.
All of them put together the recovery was less painful.

I wouldn't. The one time I ordered directly from them (three tiny cables), they grossly over packed them in an enormous box with a bajillion (give or take a gazillion) air pillows (a padded envelope would have been more than adequate) and charged me a fortune for shipping. When I tried emailing them about it, they ignored my emails. My last email to them was to tell them there was no way I would ever buy another EVGA product if that was the kind of customer service I could expect from them (they ignored that one, too).

I was some what worried that the cpu could not handle the 2666 speed ram.
Intel list it a 2400. Then again I have always put faster the Intel specs in my system with no problem.

I will give that ram a chance and change my order.
I buy all my hardware from my local dealer. He delivers and will do business with cash.

The black edition doesn't match my color scheme quiet as well.

    Thanks

    Jack
You can always run RAM at a slower speed.

    Hi,
Yea sometimes you can get a better price buying elsewhere rather than through evga not to mention you don't have to deal with them unless you register the product.
I saved $ buying from either amazon or newegg on evga stuff :)

It's more than just the price. What if one has a problem with an EVGA product while it was still under warranty? Based on my experience with their customer service (or, rather, the lack of it), an EVGA warranty wouldn't be worth the paper it is printed on.

My experience is very different. I have never received anything other than excellent Customer Service from EVGA. I have had to RMA a graphics card and a PSU from them, both went easily and quickly.

I buy most everything from my local independent Intel dealer. I do pay a little more but when I need help with a problem he is always there. Even it includes coming to my home if need be. His services cost me no extra.
This person is not just a sales person. He builds computer for the city we live in and other surrounding cities which include Fire Departments, Police Departments, schools and many more departments in various cities.
He also builds system for big and small business and home personal use.
He uses warehouses from coast to coast to get what is needed. From a small connector one might need to what it takes to build a servers for cities and counties.
The company has been in business for 3 decades and I have use them for 15 years.
He will happily give advice over the phone if requested.

Every city should have such a computer place. One that know what they are doing and customer service all in one package.
