So, excuse the double post... But it's for a good reason.

I quite simply couldn't leave all those 27" beauties in boxes any longer. Now I know I'll definitely need a bigger desk when I get to the point of running three...

Hmmm... I'd be too paranoid about having two monitors so close to the edge.. By my calculations, the end two monitor's stands would quite literally be on the desk edges. But I actually want to leave the 3-way setup for the new system anyway, just to add to the "new monster rig" effect when it finally hits me.

Wait.. Triple monitor mount? As in a single stand for all three monitors? Think I missed that part. That's sort of the plan for the new system; at least, one day it is.

Consider wall mounted monitors, you could keep your same desk. Wall mounted would be cheaper than a new desk and would look pretty awesome, in my opinion.

Articulating arm wall mounts are an excellent way to accommodate three monitors on a too small desk. Also, there are many variations of desk mount triple mount stands. some have a single stand that sets on top of the desk. Other variations have a clamp that clamps to the overhang at the back of a desk; some of those can also be bolted to the back of a desk.

I've been doing some (re)searching online for info about monitor stands, looks like there some very nice and very pricey options out there.. The wall mount idea is nice and clean, however purely for the flexibility aspect, I would prefer a free-standing or desk-mounted solution. EasyMountLCD seem to have a few nice options, of which this one seems about the best to me.

The other thing is I'm not planning to stay where I am for much longer, hoping to move out of these flats and into a house sometime before the end of the year.. The need to get a double garage, more usable space and to get away from having people living on my roof is becoming quite serious now. So the less permanent solutions I go for now, the better.

That one you linked is very popular because it is one of the least expensive ones out there that are any good but it has one possible problem (that probably won't be a problem for you). The bar the monitors mount onto is a single curved bar and one can't adjust the angle of the two side monitors other than to align the edges with the edges of the center monitor. That means, if one has a limited amount of horizontal space (like I do), you can't increase the angle of the side monitors to make the trio take up less horizontal space. Other than that limitation, it is a good stand.

Nice desk there...Seems also your corsair case have lost its front panel!!

Triple 27" monitor is quite huge space. I like the solution you linked and looks to me not that so annoying can't be able to adjust angles on sided monitors, as mentionned (curve looks fine). Three ones stuck on a wall looks to me more work to do than a stand mounted.

Methinks it's because he has the front fan mounted to the front of the case instead of behind it like the stock fan is (the fan there now looks like it is a Cooler Master Megaflow, the same one I put in my case. He will have to do some surgery to the front panel to be able to get it on, assuming there is room for that. The alternative would be to cut out the factory grill and modify the fan like I did, which would be way more work than what I did because the entire rig would have be stripped down to the bare metal before doing the surgery. In the mean time, he needs a working computer.
