Looks pretty tidy out back compared to mine bar the hanging SSD lol.
I shudder to think what yours must look like then as I consider mine crazy messy. I figure it fits now and if I bundle it up then have to do maintaince later I have to just break them apart again.

Yup.. Mine looks much the same at the moment. :) I do kinda need to sort out the cables though; it's a rather new build though, still working out a few details..

[ed] Out of curiosity, we have pretty similar systems, mind sharing your memory speed for comparison..?

I hate the back side of my rig, having soundproofing inside the panel makes it really hard to get it back on. I end up having to lie the rig down on the opposite side and kneel on the panel while I slide it into place. It makes temporarily disconnecting HDDs a royal pain in the arse.

The winsat mem speeds will be totally different Zalith. His ram will be running dual channel compared to your quad channel.

In my experience, dual channel will top out at around 34k for the fastest stuff whereas quad will usually be a minimum of 40k even for the slow stuff.

Not so sure about the "min 40k even for slow stuff" part.. Mine is 2400MHz and it only gets 41k. I suppose these days memory bandwidth is more of an issue than RAM speeds though..

I find the speeds to be all over the place with Ivy E and quad channel ram. If I run my ram at 1600 I score just over 40k, if I run it at 2400 it scores the same. If I run it at 2200 it scores better at around 43k. I guess the memory controller is maxed out or something.
If I turn hyperthreading off I get well into the 50k. I think my best was 55k at 2200 with ht off.

That all makes mine sound low at 2400 and the timings in my spec area I get 32834mb/s. My old corsair vengeance was faster but for render jobs I have 32GB of this. If you guys know of better timings to try be my guest.

Nice looking rig, all you white case people. I have a Black one. I figure as long as the side panel goes on without a lot of trouble, and the inside looks pretty good, I'm happy. I have quite a few cases, and I have still never had one with enough room behind the motherboard tray, I always want more. That's a nice looking rig, rvcjew. I think you did a great job. Congrats, I'm sure you're proud of it, and should be.

Alan, a little pushing with your hand is OK though.
