You must be in the far eastern part of Cal. Your post says it's 2:35 there :)

Ya I almost went with the 1000platinum, but I wanted some breathing room in case I go with some other stuff in the rig, etc. and I did some minor research on the evga psu's and they seemed to be some of the highest ranked psus. Plus it fit in my price range. :) and thank you for the welcome. glad to be here!

What is that white thing just left of the ram with the screw in it?
You will being doing cable management over about 3 times before you really get it the way you want it. That is just part of building your own system the way you want it.

Looks like the UPC of the CPU closed circuit cooler. Cool master somethin or other. I'm replacing that with a larger corsair next. I guess I should remove it.

And ya I'm noticing that. For instance, one of the red sata cables just got a zip tie on the excess cable... To clean it up a bit. I'm sure there will be plenty more minor tweaks.

    Master Turkey!

Amazing Rig Man very nice and powerful build! Excellent job!

Hey guys I need help I sold out my Asus GTX 760 DirectCU-II 2GB in November 2014 and I ordered a ASUS GTX 970 Strix on 1st Dec. but problem is it's nowhere to be found here locally anywhere at all. I checked all shops and online stores and none of them have GTX 970 in ASUS only a couple online stores have GIGABYTE GTX 970 Gaming G1 in limited stock and they are asking insane prices like $520 to $560 and one shopkeeper had few MSI GTX 970 Tiger Edition for like $485 (not the Gaming 4G one's).

Now the online store from where I ordered the ASUS Strix first they informed me on 6th January that due to shortage on stocks in their US based office I will have to wait till the end of January but today I got the call from them and what the guy explained me the issue of being out of stock in almost all good brands like ASUS, MSI etc I would have to wait another few weeks and still they are not certain that on what fix date I will get the card in febuary.

So it's almost 2 months now and I'm frustrated now and I never had this problem before so I asked them that if there is any other alternate so he suggested me the Galax GTX 970 and confirmed me that they have cards available in stock from GALAX and I opt out for GALAX GTX 970 EXOC Black Edition as I don't have another option left (except getting a refund which wont help as there aren't any good 970's available anywhere) coz Galaxy is costing me almost $100 less than the GIGABYTE and $45 less than the MSI Tiger one and also they are giving me 2 Years Warranty on the GALAX card where on other brands I only get 1 Year warranty.

So is it any good though I've read it's reviews it's a good card and performance is great but still idk.... here is the link below:

LOL - Thanks, guys. Seems like you guys have good taste in PC components as well.
I can safely say that many of this forum's regulars do lots of research and comparisons before picking parts, makes a big difference when building any machine..

The fans are awesome. I like them a lot. Admittedly though, they are a little noisier than I thought they'd be, being Noctua fans, but I knew they were going to be somewhat noisier than the more usual slower fans that have less airflow and static pressure potential.
In my personal experience, I've found that the case makes a big difference to a rig's overall noise levels, perhaps even more so than the components it holds.. Obviously that isn't the only important point if you want a whisper quiet setup, but having a good solid case definitely helps contain a lot of the wind and spin related noise generated by high performance fans these days.
