Yeah you can remove all or just some of the rear ones, above it there is a piece of plastic sticking out which you push down and the lift the whole thing out. Once you've done that you can split them.
    Whew, thanks :)
Is it possible to get the 3.5 inch drive bays separately by any chance? The case looks spectacular, but kinda fragile for my hands.

Guys need a lil info, anyone of you using the Corsair Air 540 case? Im getting a great deal on it, just for 90$ (usually its 160$). Should I go for it?
Reading the follow up posts, I see you already went for it.. I was going to say AnandTech have a nice thorough review of it. By their standards, it looks to be a pretty darn decent box!

Looking forward to some pics.. *hint hint, nudge nudge*

Actually I was going through some images of the case and somehow ended up on Anandtechs review so went through it before messing with the case.
Took about 3-4 hours, it was really messy and dusty, plus I couldn't do cable management if my life depended on it so took a fair while.
Accidentaly broke a fin of the 140mm fan in the rear so had to take it out, good thing had a replacement from my previous case.
One fan on the top isn't connected yet either, board can only support 4 fans and had 1 Molex to 3 pin connector.
Looks simply spectacular, money well spent. And looks much neater than my last case as well.
As for the pics, they will have to wait probably, can't find the AA batteries for my stupid camera since I hardly use it lol.

That's awesome, sounds like it's coming along quite nicely.. All in good time though.

With regards to cable management, some people have an innate ability to see where the cables need to go straight off the bat. I envy those people though, I've still got to try 10 different ways before I'm happy with it.

Speaking of which, I actually need to redo the cables in my current rig. I got my custom cables a couple weeks back, but I haven't had the time or energy to strip and rebuild it yet. Besides, I've still got another machine to reassemble after a power surge fried the motherboard. Hopefully I'll get a chance to sort these things out this coming weekend.

Nice pick up linnemeyerhere. Are you going to put an SSD in it?

Edit: Just saw the disk score, is that an SSD already in it or HDD?

It has both now, it started with a 320 hdd but had a spot for a msata ssd drive so that's in and the thing is a rocketship. Boots in under 15 seconds but I've yet to add all my software !
