IDK. Intel and AMD war is just like the anti-virus war.

And intel is never a few pennies more than an AMD product. They are almost always twice the amount.
    I spent 800 on a AMD build i could of made a intel I5 or even a I7-4790 with
The main problem with AMD and this is coming from a long time user is they fail to update their components to the standards that everyone else is at i mean really how hard is it to update your PCI-E Lanes and use architecture that might make a difference they also have had almost 4 years to improve their Bulldozer and piledriver offerings but they just rehashed them in different names with no improvements except the E processors and even then overclocking brings the power draw up

Only thing i can say at this point is AMD is lucky to have mantle that is the only way they can keep up in gaming other wise everything else is a skunk fest

Windows 7 x64 Ultimate and numerous virtual machines

Well I use AMD and some Intel CPU's in my computer collection. My main machine which I am writing this on has an 8350 running at 4GHZ and I have stuck 32 Gb 2400 Mhz ram in it and yesterday had 4 virtual Windows 10 machines (3 x 64 + 1 x 32 bit) running in VMWare Workstaion 11 upgrading them to the newest version 10041 all at the same time with no issues. I don't think benchmarks tell the complete real world truth. Some gamers go nuts about framerate. If your monitor is like most it runs at 60hz so there is no point in having it anyhigher as you cannot see it unless you get a 120Hz monitor. All I care about seems to work perfectly well for me. My 4 machines that I use daily serve me well. What I hate about Intel is they cripple, yes cripple their chips. Some won't do virtualization, some have limited PCIe lanes. Hell there is an i7 that cost $400 and won't do sli as there are not enough PCIe lanes. That is just plain wrong. Intel Core i7-5820K Haswell-E 6-Core 3.3GHz LGA 2011-v3 140W BX80648I75820K Desktop Processor - Newegg.com
My lappy has an intel dual core and my Netbook has an Atom. The best Intel machine I have is a Dell T3400 with a Quad core 6700 and 4 Gb ram and a HD 6670. She flies pretty well considering the machine was made 8 years ago. All of the machines except my DVR have SSD in them and that is the biggest differnce I have seen (except the Toshiba and the Netbook). The netbook eepc is usable with an SSD and hopeless without. The Toshiba have not had the funds to spend on the SSD yet.

That's a pretty moot point here anyway, the general derail here is about AMD and Intel CPUs.

Mantle is a rendering system designed to make more use of GPU power and reduce CPU load. What makes you say they dumed it though? Care to quote a source for that..? Still seems to be pushing forward from what I can see...

Oh. I already lost hope when I saw a news about AMD abandoning Mantle.

Oh. I already lost hope when I saw a news about AMD abandoning Mantle.

The article here says it will be included in the Vulcan API so Mantle is around but DX12 might still tear it apart 60%FPS gain is pretty sick

Next i'm planning to get some extensions (Although not anytime soon).
(Yes I know, some really bad shots in there, too tired to weed em out )
Couldn't find the box of the rams and GPU -__-
