Thanks for the pat on the back.

I think I will tinker awhile. This Motherboard has so many possibilities, their will be a learning curve.

My bios sees both M.2 but when I select raid it doesn't see but one M.2.
Their is a ton of information about raid (0) for x79 and other motherboards but very little on a X99 Deluxe II motherboard.
My dealer had a usb thumb drive that had Window 7 Pro with the need NVMe drivers which made the install on one M.2 possible. Windows 7 see both M.2 and they are both formatted with a drive letter.
Still can't get the bios to do raid (0).

I have read so many things and watched so many videos on raid my brains is scrambled.

Jack, did you read the link I posted? It was on an X99 board. The only way I know to Raid M.2 drives is through Disk Management in a sort of software raid. Samsung SM951 512GB M.2 PCIe SSDs in RAID 0 - Hitting 4.5GB/s - Legit ReviewsSamsung SM951 M.2 PCIe SSDs in RAID 0

Your manual should tell you the max ram for your laptop. But Your specs say you have a 32 bit OS, so the max ram your OS can address will be about 3.5 - 3.7 GB. I wouldn't get more than 4 GB, if your laptop allows it.

Good. Just make sure you get compatible ram for it. You can use Crucial system scanner, which is very good to make sure. You don't have to buy from Crucial if you don't want to, but note all the specs and you can buy any ram with those specs, pretty much.

I got about 40 hours in this raid thing. Tried many things that didn't work.

    I'm going to plan (B).

I have installed Windows 7 Pro/64 on one M.2 and when I get in the mood I will install W-10 on the other M.2 and just dual boot.

Steve, I could use a suggestion on which W-10 to get. I see you have Enterprise.
    Please explain why.
