    Yupp. As low as it gets. May have to up it one more. But I see ppl getting 4.5 at 1.2v withe the same temps. That's y it bothered me.

    IT all depends on the specific hardware Pat, Dude was kicking our butts with a stock Intel cooler. Some can OC to 4.8 at 1.2V, others need 1.4 or so.

    Yup, I have two 3770Ks, one I've had to 5.2, just to brag, the other won't go more than 4.8.

    I got it to 4.5 @ 1.160v... Just temp worried me... I'm too use to AMD lol.

    I need a new case an new water cooler :) H80i ain't going to cut it this summer. Max Temp was 74c on hottest core with fan on normal.

    while gaming for about 2 hrs, max cpu temp was 63c and max gpu temp was 72c

    digging up an old thread here....

    after some testing i got stable at 4.5GHz fully

    in prime 95, the temps hit ~75C @ ~1.2V. while gaming i seem to hit ~65C @ 1.216V. This is with an ambient temp of ~27C. How do you think these numbers are? do you guys think its safe for 24/7/365 usage? I game for hrs on end too.

    Sounds Okay Patrick, especially for Prime. Volts are good on the lower end too. I don't start worrying till the CPU gets to 90C, I have Core Temp overheat protection set to shut down at 95C in one second.
