But then again, maybe an AMD card. That would be the 1st decision to make, do you have a preference ?

I'm with Addram I prefer the NVidia and it is a shame as this is a nice card ASUS GTX650-DC-1GD5 GeForce GTX 650 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - Newegg.com

I have it in the Sandy Bridge and the Ti (more expensive ) in the Ivy Bridge both brilliant performers but again they are NVidia - the other mob I would not go back to - too many hassles with them for me.

Pity Newegg are out of stock But have never had EVGA stuff so cannot comment.

I'm not a pricing expert so maybe an HD 7850 will do? HD 7850 costs $90 here lol

Like I said mate I am not fan of the AMD stuff but if that is what you want I would go for something like this if that is your price range Refurbished: ASUS HD7750-1GD5-V2 Radeon HD 7750 1GB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card - Newegg.com

There is not much wrong with the graphics themselves in my mind just the hassles (I had at least) with the Catalyst Control centre stuff:)
