    Is this all compatible or...?

Okay so I want to upgrade my CPU cooler(stock) to an CM Evo 212.
This is my current build ( AMD FX-6300, Gigabyte Radeon R9 270X, Corsair SPEC-01 RED - System Build - PCPartPicker United Kingdom ).
When I added the Evo 212 to the part list it said this and I was wondering will this totally prevent me from getting this?

If this incompatibility note doesn't affect it, is there anything else that would stop me from getting it?

    Thanks :)

If there was an issue it would be the depth of the case for the height of the cooler. Mounting should be a piece of cake and somehow I think the case depth and cooler heights should still play nice together.

IMHO I would just go with a H80i or H100i water cooler and call it a day.

Looking at compatible coolers the 212 Evo isn't listed.....just go sealed water it totally rocks and cleans up the look as well as has a huge cooling capacity.

Just went water cooling myself and what a difference. I agree completely. The only thing I would caution about water coolers like the sealed ones, is to make sure they will fit in the case without any difficulty. I had a terrible time getting my radiator mounted in my new HAF 912+ even though it had space for a 240mm cooler.

It never hurts to check the measurements first.
