I figured it was about tine I added my new ATI 5870, so here it is. :)

The pad it's sitting on is 13 in / 33 cm long; I guess I should dust off my keyboard!
    Wow. Nice card

Dont laugh too much eh. I only learnt what was inside them around Christmas.
I DO NOT play games on it, so i built it for my basic usage which includes internet, video ripping, flash, etc. Its actually overkill for what i need, but intend on ocing it tonight anyway.
(pics are not new & sorry for the image's quality - my mobile, & yeah, i know im messy)
rig visual mods planned - custom acrylic window in mesh side panel, gigabyte gpu, cpu cooler, more cold cathode's & changing the front fan & indicator red led's to green.

& the hidden mess! (its even worse now)

At first glance I thought you had a really coplex water cooling system there. I want to cover all my cables with black and green sleeving one day, that is one day when my XFX machine is complete... It's got a little way to go still. Lol...

Still, sounds like you'll have a sweet looking rig once you're done with the fans and lights hey..

Cheers for that ZaLiTH! Any complementation helps keep me on the moddin path!
4 fans do the cooling, 2 x 120mm & 2 x 200mm, but the sleeving took me over 6 hours & i stuffed 1 sata power connection. Unless i can somehow piggyback my current cables i'll have to upgrade & re-sleeve my psu too. There is a card that connects an ide drive for xp so that explains the fatter cable
After a larger 2nd monitor i'll probably do the gpu & maybe window short term because my boss has said i can make a full case from acrylic for my work pc, so that will take priority over my foreign orders. Main reason it comes first is because i have to add a gpu anyway so im going to buy the new card for mine & put my current card into the work pc.

Nice setup jsnxx, love the cold cathodes :P, also, where'd you pick up the cable sleeving kit? I'm considering sleeving my cables in black, but I'm having a bit of trouble sourcing some...
@Zalith, lol I too thought he had some kind of wicked watercooling setup at first ^^

I'm not sure if it'll work out cheaper or not for you, but here in SA computer parts and accessories are hellishly expensive, so I buy everything online...

One of the cheapest and best range of braided sleeving I've found was over at CableOrganizer.com, here are the two pages I've got bookmarked for when I have money to buy: black sleeving and coloured sleeving. Hope that helps...

My simple set up consists of a notebook used in lid closed mode under my desk attached to an HP monitor.

On the desk is a Lacie 1TB external HD for my storage, Apple slim keyboard and the mouse is to be replaced soon with a wireless one.

I prefer a setup like this because its clean, tidy and silent.
