    my open-air 4 monitor rig

    A few notes:

The blue thing on the upper left is a lamp. Its housed inside a hollow swimming pool-noodle in order to minimize glare, and spotlight the keyboard in the dark

The motherboard is mounted onto mobo stands which are seated in an oak plank, and the plank rests on the shelf behind the 3 lower monitors

The Vizio is tilted forward since its so high up, and the stand it sits on rotates on a felt base, in order to watch TV in bed. The Vizio doubles as a TV - that's the Cable DVR box just beneath the blue thing.

There is a 24-inch extender on the power supply's motherboard power plug in order to allow the distance between the psu and mobo.

The DVD drive rests under the psu (hard to see)

All those wires in the back are in the dark (not visible) when sitting at the desk

That's a 5v LED fan sitting on the nightjar fanless psu. Its not really needed but the system is so quiet that the LEDs help me tell if its on or not.

The orange thing on the right edge of the desk is a momentary toggle switch (the red dot) mounted on an orange plastic top to a gatorade bottle, which is then glued to the desk. The wires run from there to the power on/off pins on the mobo, so this switch turns the machine on.

That's an old Adesso MCK-86 keyboard, to minimize space.

Unpictured since its behind the right monitor is the hard drive, which hangs distended from a giant rubber band below the shelf. You can just see the rubber band as it wraps around the shelf about 4 inches to the left of the ifx-14

Wow, I don't think you've got quite enough monitors there.
