    Hello all....:)

    I'm in the process of building a new i7 rig.


    Here's what I have so far towards the new rig.

    CM Cosmos RC-1000 case

    Corsair 1000HX PSU

    EVGA 760 Classified 3Way SLI mobo

    CORSAIR DOMINATOR 12GB (6 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)

    XFX Radeon HD 5870 (Cypress XT) 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 Video Card w/ATI Eyefinity

    1x Intel X25-M G2 80GB SSD : I will get another and setup a RAID for the OS

    2x 640GB WD Cavial Black : I will get a 1TB WD C. Black also

    Tuniq 120 Extreme HSF

    Sony Optiarc Black 24X 2MB Cache SATA DVD/CD Rewritable Drive

    ASUS 25.5" 2m HDMI Widescreen LCD Monitor

    1x 250mm fan for the side door that I haven't added yet as I need to get a Dremel tool.
    EDIT: I now have the Dremel tool, I need the correct bit.

    5x 140mm case fans.

    love that case Ted... & that gleaming new corsair PSU mmmmmm

    that's also a smart setup you have kunzy..... i must grab one of those keyboards, is that the G15 ???

    well here's my setup before i moved it all upstairs, as you can see there are no external whistles & bells here...lol & my sig rigs tower is prehistoric..... its actually contained 3 other computers before this one, im a bit of a skin flint, ''if its functional use it!!''

    glad you like, yea, it is the g15. But you can only gwt the orange/black one now. It lights up orange and has less macro keys. But its old, i have 2 monitors now and added a thing or 2 to the case.

    Must say though, i dig your speakers and the three towers.

    I had this for a while but I don't think I have posted a pic of it yet, so here you go. The colour you see in the case is blue but for some reason when i take a photo it turns into that horrible purple colour. Do you like the Black light?

    I just wanted to post the latest editions to my new Windows 7 system....


    ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard

    G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 - two sets for a total of 8GB.

    ASUS V72 92mm Sleeve CPU Cooler


    More will be added when I accumulate additional disposable income.

I am trying to setup a default user or machine setup for how win7 handles folder view options. I want show hidden folders to be set to on for all users and the hide extensions for know file types to be unchecked or turned off ffor all users (so extensions show) I have located them in the registry...
