Low Graphics Score with higher clocks.

Hey, need some help to find out what's causing this, now this is what i did, used a modded BIOS of the same version as my card with volts 1.3 and power limit set to 125% and running it on 1549Mhz this is what i get :

    Graphics Score from 3DMark :

This is what i got before using the modded BIOS,with only Afterburner on 1516Mhz : 13336

then when using the Modded BIOS alone on 1519Mhz : 12967

then using AB on 1549Mhz power limit 125% core volt 100% and got the same score when using the BIOS alone : 12967

GPU's temp never gets over 69c and the clocks never dropped

and here's the modded BIOS if anyone needs to take a look at it LINK

Simple, flash the bios back, and OC it yourself. Or you could use kepler bios tweaker, and see what changed in the mod and tweak it to your liking.

Sometimes, a higher clock is stable enough to run without crashing/artifacts, etc.....but will drop frames and result in a lower score. I think MSI Kombuster has some benchmarks designed to test and see if you are dropping frames.

As I found out a couple of weeks ago, my 780 (and all 780s) throttle at 80°C and I actually lost performance for every 10MHz increment I put onto my clock. It may be that you have to increase the Power Limit and Temperature Limit to stop it throttling, but I'd only advise that as a temporary solution for benching.

I did,had the power limit at 150% but still had the same issue where i get a lower score than a stock, never mind i went back on stock BIOS as for Firestrike i cant go more than 1540mhz,tho ran Crysis 3 at 1550Mhz for 2 hours without any problems.
    thanks all.

Edit : other G1 owners are having the same issue but no one seems to have any clue on what is causing this.
