    Installing Hyper tx3 Evo?

I have just upgraded to fx6300, and the stock cooler just sucks. 69-71c room temperature! I plan to install hyper tx3 EVO, but someone just told me it needs backplate install. I don't want to go through that now Is it true? In which case, can somebody point me towards some alternative of same budget that doesn't need back-plate install (like older Hyper Tx3). I usually buy from these two/three sites:-

    I don't know of any.
Why is installing a back plate such a problem.
The case in your specs show that it has the necessary access hole to install the plate that will come with coolers.

Okay,I will if I have to. But, don't feel that confident handling backplates My previous model was Hyper TX3 which didn't need it

Does Hyper TX3 Evo need a backplate at all? The Tx3 version didn't need at all.

I have no idea, I have never used one.
Installing a backing plate is very simple because you have a hole in your motherboard tray just for that purpose.
Just follow the instructions that come with the cooler.

Years ago before case manufactures made that hole in the motherboard tray we had to remove the motherboard to install a new cooler.

Is 70% isopropyl okay for thermal paste cleaning? My cpu is new, but new cooler will probably need thermal grease re-application. I can only get 70 percent around here.

    70% will do.
I use a coffee filter to do the cleaned because they are lint free.

Some very good information. Just follow the tabs for instructions.
