Thanks guys. This has been incredibly informative. I shall do a bit of research before I buy, and watch videos on how to apply things.

Did I mention that doing the research is quite fun.
Make sure you pick the proper case and power supply. Very important.

I have a 1300w PSU, I'll be upgrading to a more powerful one when I build my PC. Research is fun, as long as you can organize the information. My case, I haven't fully decided upon. I was going to speak to my High School teacher, and see if he can't help me custom build one out of aluminum. I was his top CNC Programmer, and I'm a welder/machinist. But we shall see..

    Any suggestions on the case?

Cases are a very personal decision based on a multitude of issues. Start with size, where it will be placed, do you want a window to see and show others your good taste and hard work. Then there's budget, color, drive options, what reservoir are you going with, number and size of radiators....on....and on.

You will become an aficionado like many other PC enthusiasts. The entire journey never ends but one does develop a core understanding of their needs and goals.

If you have the space and the cash then maybe a caselabs model would be your dream case?
