AMI UEFI BIOS settings: Dynamic Storage Accelerator

Working on a new Z97 Pro board. In UEFI, there is a setting called "Dynamic Storage Accelerator". This is supposed to boost the performance of SSDs.

    Anyone got this enabled?
    Anyone know how it works?

    EDIT - more info:
    From UEFI:
"Dynamic Storage Accelerator accelerates the performance of your SSD by dynamically adjusting system power management policies to deliver up to 15% faster performance during heavy multitasking compared to default power management."
    From a Techreport article:
"While testing the Z87-PRO's SATA performance, we played around with Intel's Dynamic Storage Accelerator a little. This feature needs to be enabled in the firmware and also in Intel's RST software. Turning it on didn't move the needle much in our tests, though. While SATA performance improved slightly in some runs, it didn't in others, and the net gain was pretty minimal."
Sounds like just something to play with.

It basically manages the C states so there won't be as much latency from power state changes when doing i/o. So depending on how you have it set in RST, it will, say, not let you drop below C2 or even C1E (aggressive). Something like that. You can see what it does with Realtemp or Throttlestop.

I have it on, but I don't it does much - so "something to play" with has my vote.
