    Potential New Build

Hi, I'm looking to upgrade my pc as I go on using it, recently got a new case for it as well as a liquid processor cooling unit. I have been looking up some further modifications and would like to get some feed back from people who've been doing this longer then I have and have knowledge about the parts. My current Specs are listed on my profile but I was thinking of swapping out most of the parts to the following

    Intel Core i7-5960X
    ASUS P9X79 LE (Mobo)
    G.SKILL RipJaw X 4x8GB (2 of them)
MSI GeForce GTX 970 (3 of them)
    Corsair AX1500i

I realize that this would cost me a pretty penny (upwards of 4500 with tax here) but it would all be introduced 1 at a time. An example would be I buy the processor then a paycheck or two after I buy the Mobo. After that I would probably buy the memory followed by the power then the graphics.

Cooling isn't going to be a problem, i have the Corsair H100i for the processor which should be sufficient to do the job (if not I will create a custom cooling system) and will soon have 12 fans on the case

Any Suggestions or pointers would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Memory wise i'm thinking of waiting till a good priced 500 gig comes along. From what i can tell, right now that would be about $2 a gig, going to wait for a little better 1.75 or so per, otherwise i'm going to grab a smaller one for the os and a few select items. My list draws on what i can (relatively) easily get locally. If you have any suggestions on better mobos please by all means. I know 64 gigs of ram is a bit.. insane, but it would be cool even if the highest ram usage thing i know is perhaps 8 gigs. I intend for it to be up to anything for the next 5-7 years.. hopefully

edit: any thoughts on ASUS X99 Motherboards - IntelĀ® Haswell-E
I'd have to switch to ddr4 but that wouldn't be too bad. we have stable ddr4 now?

    I have a silly question.
What is the intended use of this computer?

Gaming rig, i have a laptop i can use for other purposes. Plus the parts that are currently in the pc now, will be going back into my old case and essentially be a media streaming device for my technically challenged girlfriend

Ok heres what I have locally available

They probably need a bios update like the Z87 does.
