    Thoughts on Overclock

Hey Everyone, I've Overclocked my PC and Here are some Pictures of my Results everything seems stable so far. I Tested my video card with Furmark and Heaven Benchmarks also, What are your thoughts about my overclock?

81 c under load is pretty high for a standard oc.What kind of cooler you using?. Although i would deffinately prefer it to run down under 70!

I'm not sure about the ox on your graphica however, what kind of fps increase have you seen from benchmarking?

If only IBT makes it hit 80's and regular gaming is lower you should be good.

For a 84W CPU I would prefer lower temps.
Better cooling is probable the answer because the vcore at 1.2V is not all that high of voltage.

As far as benchmarks are concerned, I haven't done much benchmarking so far, but what I Have done is Geekbench for now with normal and overclocked settings. I also noticed with my CPU core voltage on auto it sits at 1.108 and Jumps to 1.192 - 1.197 Under load with a Max temp of 69c.

Normal - Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z87X-D3H - Geekbench Browser

Overclocked - Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. Z87X-D3H - Geekbench Browser

Yeah that last screenshot shows you running 69*c at 3.8Ghz which is only a little higher than the standard clock rate (Is it worth the OC?).

If you want to push the 4Ghz then i would honestly advise you to upgrade your cooler, either a larger heatsink or higher pressure fan. Or you know, get an all in one water solution.

Just thought i would share mine, the max temps were due to the cooling profile being in the silent mode.

I Don't think you're gonna get a Larger heatsink than the Noctua NH-D14 For air. I have no interest in Water either, besides I'm doing 55 - 60c On my CPU when i'm playing Dead Rising 3. If I don't crash I'd say the Overclock is worth it.
