Enabling turbo on my 2500k pushes clock speed too high

I was trying to enable turbo on my bios, mobo is asrock extreme 3 gen 3, in the oc section of the bios and it shot the clock speed up to over 4.4GHz which then put my temps way too high. I don't see where in the bios you can turn down the boost multiplier. Without it enabled even Intel ETU its all blacked out in the manual tuning section. As far as I know the cpu is supposed to boost to 3.7GHz which I would like to test.

Isn`t there a way to set the max core speed in the bios ?

You should be able to set each core to a maximum GH.
