About the SSD - I've got an external 750gb drive, so do I really need to shrink it in 2? My ideas was to leave the SSD as a system disc and dont store any sensitive info there.

About the cpu - I'm not going to oveclock, but this was the best option in terms of price/money that I could find.

My concern is about the motherboard - it appears to be hard to find network drivers (I'll be using wi-fi connection 100%). Not sure if I have to consider another motherboard or I can keep it and use it with the canyon wi fi card?

You`ll get a driver disc with the motherboard.

Your SSD would be your main OS drive. If it was a 250GB then I would partition it. If you stick with a 120/128 GB SSD then you wouldn't bother partitioning it.

No you don't have to shrink it at all I just do it so windows doesn't write too far out on the ssd
256gb is mostly for future expandability
You can leave it with the entire volume it really doesn't hurt anything.

I agree the mother board does have all drivers on the disk that comes with it so you will need to load it after getting to your desktop from loading windows
But you will need to skip activation of windows until you get the drivers disk installed.

I would also question the PSU choice and and opt instead for a Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, EVGA, XFX, CoolerMaster or Silverstone. Think of the PSU as the muscle behind the scenes that if it goes south takes many other expensive things with it. Try to buy as much quality PSU as possible. Remember that the extra capacity allows for future expansion and normally PSU's loss .5-1.5% of their capacity a year !

    Welcome to Seasonic USA
