Building a Gaming PC, £500 Budget, What's the best I can get?

Hey guys after my really old PC's graphic card died I came up with the idea of building a new Gaming PC because I don't really wanna put anymore money into that old stuff.

Soo I just want to build a PC. Don't need a monitor or anything. My budget is £500. I want to play games such as GTA V, Battlefield 4 on medium or high specs if possible. Please help me guys! You don't have to count in the operating system. Just the parts.

From what UK vendor or vendors will you likely purchase?

    What are their websites?

What monitor size and resolution will you be using?

How many of these parts do you need to buy with that 500 pounds?

    Mouse

    Keyboard

    Case

    Power supply

    Motherboard

    RAM

    Video card

    Sound card

    Any other internal cards

    Hard drive number 1

Hard drive number 2 and higher

    CPU

    CPU cooler

    Case fans

    Thermal paste

    Anything else such as headphones

To be honest any as long as it's in UK. I was searching for parts on amazon.co.uk.

Parts I want in the 500 Budget:
    Case

    Power supply

    Motherboard

    RAM

    Video card

    Sound card

    Hard drive number 1

    CPU

    CPU cooler

    Case fans

    Thermal paste

And would I need to buy an ethernet card to connect to the internet using a cable?

You'd really need to up that budget to get a decent gaming system including all of those parts.

    Hi,
That's not much for a gaming rig
Even if you narrow it down to
    Mother board
    cpu
    Ram
Your probably over budget just with those 3 items.

    asus z87
    intel 4790k
Probably blew the budget on those 2 items in the uk

You wouldn't need to buy an Ethernet card.

At that budget level, I'd forget about a sound card too.

If 500 pounds is your limit, about all you can do is get a low level Intel i3 or maybe a Pentium (G3258 I think) and then see how far you can go on your required parts list from your preferred vendor without going over budget. Maybe even an AMD CPU--I know almost nothing about them other than that they are cheap.

Maybe you can't get very far---I'm not sure about UK prices. But i3 and G3258 and most AMDs would be low end processors.

I know my budget is very limited. The other option is...

I was thinking of buying this :
CYBERPOWER Empire Elite Gaming PC Deals | PC World
    or
PC SPECIALIST Vortex Elite GT Gaming PC Deals | PC World
or buying one of them and upgrading some parts? Don't want to spend over my budget.

But building a PC by myself would be cheaper?

The highest AMD you'd probably get for that budget is an A10 APU which would be pointless if you're adding a dedicated GPU. I don't see the point of having such an expensive operating system (Ultimate) on a budget PC either.

I'd say at least 1000.us for a decent gaming rig otherwise yea just buy another prebuilt it will be a low end system just get a regular sized case and not a mini crap case and you might be able to upgrade items like the psu/ ram/ gpu later

At minimum a mid tower case good luck finding one for basically 560.us
I'm not sure you could even buy a surface 2-3 for that :/
Unless you shop at eBay and take your chances.

Yes stick with a prebuilt one or save some more cash ... The Links you Posted the specifications are not very detailed ...

The one in the first Link is a no goer as expansion slots is down to one ...

It would be nice to know which PSU is supplied with the Computer ...

Again prebuilt ones are very low profile in that area ...

Have a look at the Link below it could be the one if your on a low Budget ...
