Help with Overlocking

Hey, I'm new to this overclock thing and I want to try it out. I want to overclock my GTX 970 Zotac Extreme AMP! Edition GPU,unfortunately I do not know how. If you can give me the tools and software that I need to do this procedure I will be thankful. Thanks for your help and time!

For your card use Zotac Firestorm.

In my opinion, there is no reason to OC a video card, they boost all by themselves.

Hello, for the past 3 years my PC has been turning off and on due to this driver. Now, I don't use this PC as my daily driver. I just put it away and decide to tackle the issue today. I have run both an HDD and memtest RAM diagnostic tools and both come out fine. So I don't know what else to do.

Would i notice any difference if i overlock geforce gtx260 in battlefield 3? The requirements say i'll be able to play in medium but in campaign the graphics seem choppy when i move the mouse, looks fine when i stays still. So lowering the graphics to low fixes this but was wondering if...
