Well, if you ever want to clean it properly, you`ll be taking it out At least once a year. Depends on usage, your mileage may vary :)
But yes, taking it out will not be fun

Yea it seemed a lot easier to adjust the hard drive bay rack as to where they were than trying to ever remove the cooler from the top
All my intake air is filtered and I still take things apart about once a year and do a cleaning and flush the cooling system.
I really don't find much gunk, dust, cat hair but one never know until one looks.
I highly recommend making sure all incoming air is filtered.
You guys are using 4 fans wow, im only using two and using it as an exhaust on the top, still it was hard to fit it in. And my intake is filtered so thats good. The bottom is filtered too. I was worried about getting my dog hair in there everywhere but after you said about your cat, i think ill be fine.
Hi,
Yea the factory screens are not exactly filters but should catch hair
They do nothing for micro dust
I made some real filters using a/c filter material and they have done a real nice job of cutting down a lot of small dust particles
Not all there are way to many cracks here and there but does cut a lot out.
I added a grill so the filter wouldn't get sucked into the fans
Everything is all well! Overclocked my chip to 4.7 GHz at 1.3CPU Volts and doing a CPU stress test now. Temperatures are below 50 degrees celcius at 100% load. Seems good so far.
Whilst stress testing under 1.3V it shut down my computer after 8+ mins, so ive put up the volts to 1.35v. Stable at 1.35v, temps running under 60 degrees celcius 100% load.
Thats exactly what im waiting for! Glad someone knows a thing or two about GPU's here :)
You could also go 1070 if you can`t afford a 1080, the 1080 was supposed to be released today, check your sites.
