Setting permanent LED color scheme for Asus Aura

I have the Asus 970 Pro Gaming/Aura motherboard and I have noticed one problem with the LED's.

When booted the board defaults to a "color cycling mode". The way it's changed is through a desktop application (so in other words, the ability to change them isn't available in the UEFI, which is weird in my opinion).

This causes a problem where the setting will be reset to color cycle mode after shutdown or restarted since it sets it through Windows. It's pretty annoying considering I want to stick with one scheme.

Also, this is one of those mobo's that keeps a small amount of power running to the board as long as it has power supplied keeping the LED's from the board and the mouse on. So this means the color cycle continues even after it is shut down.

So anyhow, is there a way to make the settings more hard-wired into the board?

I don't know of any way that you could do that if there is no setting in the BIOS, unless you actually altered the BIOS in some way. I don't recommend that approach.
