Will this my motherboard fit in this case?

    Hi all,

I have a lenovo h50-50 computer and was wondering if this motherboard will fit in my new case.

    Link to motherboard of my H50-50 PC : Lenovo IdeaCentre H530S H50 50 W8S Motherboard P N 90002568 CIH81M for Windows 8 | eBay

    Case:

Xion XON-310_BK MicroATX Mid Tower Case (XON-310_BK) - PCPartPicker

Thanks all, hopefully this will work so I have better cooling.

I do not know if thats the exact motherboard of my pc but it says h50-50 so I'd assume it's close enough.

    Hi,
The case says a micro atx or itx board will fit only
This looks like a micro atx except for the extra 2 slots :/

    Hi,

Thank you very much for the help. I have good news and bad news:

Good news is that I installed everything successfully

Bad news is that there are several cords that don't match the pins on my motherboard, so I did not install those onto the board. Overall though I'd call it a success and my temps have dropped down a lot!

One thing that happened though was I heard some crackling noises and then there was some smoke when I started the PC.

I did the same thing several times and it never cracked or smoked again, and the PC still works fine.

Could it have just been dust jamming? I'm not sure but the PC couldn't be any better right now

    Okay, I understand.

Would it be safer if I put the computer in sleep mode instead of leaving it on all day?

Also, I really rather not turn off the computer because I have to manually power it on by going inside the case.
