Easy way to Solder Surface Mount Parts!

I came across this amazing video on soldering parts methods. The guy is quit skilled and precise. For me that have solder some parts on broken peripherals to repair, it's an informative method to go along with.

Thanks for sharing that! That was very informative, not that I would ever need to do it. It's not too dissimilar to sweat soldering, which I have done a lot of in the past.

Interesting video for sure. Too much extra equipment required for me to consider it. I'd probably just hand solder with a soldering iron!

Interesting. I don't know that I'll be doing what is shown but I recently bought a cheap imported "SMT" soldering/desoldering station that has both a temperature adjustable soldering iron and temperature adjustable hot air device. I still do occasional guitar amp (and PA) repair and a lot of the newer stuff is SMT or partially SMT. Some of it I'll attempt repair and other SMT stuff I won't touch.
