New ~$1,500 gaming/everyday build: Intel Skylake forcing me go to AMD?
Good morning to everyone,
I know this question has been asked millions of times but I think that my requirements are a bit different.
I was looking to build a Skylake system the usual parts everyone knows, then I found that I'll have compatibility problems if trying to install Windows 7, and I don't want to install Windows 8 nor 10.
So I thought why not Haswell? Well I love it BUT there is no availability in my area (Victoria- Australia) and I prefer not to buy from Amazon and similar sites because delivery fees will kill my savings.
Then I thought why not AMD?
So what do you guys think?
Can you set a system from PcPartPicker? System Build - PCPartPicker Australia
As you'll see many Haswell compatible parts don't have the price which means no availability.
I usually do gaming also many more things like internet, play streaming, some casual ripping/copying and video editing.
So I need the box without the PSU since I already have a Corsair HX 650W PSU, I think it's enough
For the case I like the CoolerMaster CM690 because it's affordable, it has plenty space inside and BIG fans already included.
Thanks in advance for help!
