Skylake Hardware with Win7 after 2020

This is my first post, and I would like to say: Hello Everybody...

Was curious as to the potential problems that might come after EOL for Win7 and Skylake Hardware.
I have spent hundreds of hours reading and searching for an answer to this question.
Every thing mentioning this subject ends just short of any kind of real answer.

Will we be able to run Skylake hardware after EOL...?
Should I just build a Broadwell setup and go with it...?
Not much price or performance difference between the two...

    Thank's

Why would you think you can`t run Skylake after W7`s EOL support ?

Correct me if I`m wrong, but we`re pretty much only getting security updates as it is now. :)

As long as you have the drivers now, I would think you could run it for as long as you want.

yea, your right on that one.
That's what I was hoping to hear, thanks for that.
Sure is tough trying to keep track of the subjects between forums.
So many trolls out there... lol
I was hoping all the doom and gloom about driver support for Skylake Hardware.
Like usb drivers for keyboard, mouse and external usb device support at boot,
having to use ps2 kb and mouse just to get things started.
    Lotts'a whining going on.

Just thought I would come here and ask directly and hope for a direct answer...
    That's what I got, Thank's again...

Maybe some of the gang that writes their own drivers might chime in and drop us a few Easter eggs this year,
instead of having to use MS's WHQL stuff... lol

So look's like Skylake 6600k here I come....
I got a couple of builds going at pcpartpicker as the user: Broke.

    Thank's
