    I recommend EVGA

EVGA - Products - EVGA SuperNOVA 550 G2, 80+ GOLD 550W, Fully Modular, EVGA ECO Mode, 7 Year Warranty, Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply 220-G2-0550-Y1 - 220-G2-0550-Y1

I`ve never used Crucial memory, but I would think either would be a good choice. I have used Corsair Vengeance and they never gave me an issue.

If money is not an issue, you could stay with an i5, but you should get something better than what you have picked out already, we always recommend the K versions. I`d go with a 9xxxK series CPU

And also if money is not an issue get a 1070 TI or hell just get a 2070, I love the looks of this card, it does not have an ugly clear shroud like their other cards.

EVGA - Products - EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 XC BLACK EDITION GAMING, 08G-P4-1171-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans - 08G-P4-1171-KR

Then pick out a 2K monitor.

This is the monitor I have on the X299 rig and it`s awesome, I love it, but it was $699.99 plus tax. You originally had it picked out.

ROG SWIFT PG279Q | Monitors | ASUS USA

And if you step up to the card I linked (just as an example) and you do get a 2K monitor, then I would up the PSU to at least 650 watts or even a 750 watt PSU.

EVGA - Products - EVGA SuperNOVA 750 P2, 80+ PLATINUM 750W, Fully Modular , EVGA ECO Mode, 10 Year Warranty , Includes FREE Power On Self Tester Power Supply 220-P2-0750-X1 - 220-P2-0750-X1

Hard to believe you haven`t gotten this PC built yet, it`s been over a year now.

Thanks again for answering my queries.

    Best regards!

PS: I was using a Dell inspiron but not satisfied with its performance and the Dell FHD display monitor is just ok.
