The Egg might be a better deal to avoid the sales tax, but they will charge you full price for return shipping if there is a problem with the SSD.
Amazon is clearly the better deal as they email you a free return shipping label with very little questions asked as to why you want to make a return.

Yeah, I preordered that this morning. I have an older 80GB SSD now, less then 1/2 full, but for $60, figured I'd replace it. Maybe use the 80GB for a VM for Windows 10 if I ever get the time...

Decided against the $29.99 for 1-year data recovery

Two things I noticed:

Page 5: WD 3 TB "Desktop Mainstream" internal drive. $78, free shipping. Online or in store. I assume this is a 5400 RPM drive, perhaps the same as "Green" drives. I read something recently about WD re-aligning their retail drive lines, so maybe this is just a Green under another name?

Page 5: Intel i3 4150, $77, in store only.

If you return it to Newegg, be sure you have them sign for it. Otherwise, a delivery confirmation means nothing to them. I was told that the confirmation means nothing and they would not be refunding or replacing my item. They couldn't find it, so it didn't happen.
