Good news passed step 3 resolution full refund of purchase
I believe the over exaggeration of how long to accomplish the task should be looked at closer by newegg very frustrating,

U.P.S. should know the real classification of the properties they deliver too and Override any single site delivery terms they are ultimately responsible to deliver the goods,
Condominiums are classified by the cities as Commercial multifamily dwellings most do not have leasing offices because there could be hundreds of individual owners and renters

If you ever get mad about how packages arrive or anything of the sort, regardless of company, go see there factory warehouse and see how much they have to do insanely quickly. Your mind will change about how you feel about them and give you a new respect for them. There job is certainly not easy.

UPS and fed ex have to keep track of billions of packages, I am surprised they do not mess up more then they do.

The way I see it UPS acts as an enabler making the drop and run possible via the drivers judgment,

I doubt a tour would alter that issue besides I've been there many times usually I get Property is Closed because the driver is to lazy to scroll a list of names to find mine

I agree with everything you said. Bit, that does not mean the have to throw the packages out of the storage compartment of a 747 15 feet off the ground. I have been on the way to get the package from my front gate and watched the UPS guy throw my $400 Motherboard over the gate. There is really no excuse to treat packages the way they do. But, I also agree they do a remarkable job, especially this time of year, moving packages across the country and getting them to the right location on time. I am amazed that they can do that. But, they can move them quite well without trying their best to damage them in the process. They handle the packages the same as you would if you decided I'm going to see if I can break whatever is inside.

Thank you Brian I agree

Yes Steve it does seem like a game to see who can break the most stuff they didn't have to buy or wait for / return......
It's not impressive at all imho
I will sacrifice time for more care but I doubt it would make any difference that's exactly why drop and run needs to stop,
It is not a traditional UPS policy but is for Newegg and probably others ?

Never have it with Amazon they love signatures for delivered goods that I remember :/

When I worked shipping and receiving many years ago, we had stopped using UPS whenever we could because of the huge percentage of damage claims we had against them. One location I worked had three delivery locations at the address I was at. Each location had a distinctive name. We had an additional delivery location nearby with a distinctively different address that had a similar name to the location I worked (I wish I had a dollar for every time I suggested they change the name of that location).

The poor UPS drivers hated me because I would check each package, no matter if it was 20 or 100 packages, for visible damage and the correct address and location before I would sign for them, which would hold the driver up. The drivers would often try to deliver all the nearby locations to my location (or that was how they were dispatched) but I wouldn't accept any package that was clearly marked for a different location, which would further delay them. UPS would put their drivers on such a tight schedule they pretty much had to take every shortcut they could to get their route delivered on time so I didn't blame them for hating me.

I had a $5000+ 500mm lens delivered once with forklift hole punched through the large box. I had a big hassle as I refused to sign it. He finally took the package with him. I had a delivery of a $1200 lens. I saw the UPS truck coming so was at the front door. The driver dropped it as he was approaching the door. All he had to say to me was "oops".

I had a relative that worked for ups chucking the boxes onto trucks. And I mean chucking.

I agree they do a big volume but also agree with the Jedi master

I opt for Fedex if I have a choice.
