That's just BS of Newegg Stave. I would sure write a scathing review of them anywhere I can find, even their pages. Put the bad comments in "Other thoughts".

I had a similar thing with a rebate from Thermaltake for a cooler. I sent in exactly what they wanted but they said the invoice I sent wasn't an invoice, just an order confirmation, I had to re-do the whole thing, the invoice is identical to the confirmation except is has the word "Invoice" at the top. Those people are really retarded in my opinion.

What did the carrier have to say ? Don't they know where it is ?
It's at Newegg. It was sent Priority Mail with a tracking number which is a bar code, and the number is scanned each time it enters or leaves a destination. It was scanned in as delivered to Newegg.

That is total BS Steve. I would keep calling and emailing. Report it to the BBB. Persistence will work for you, there is no way to accept such a raw deal. Good luck my friend

Steve, I would write a letter to their CEO. I did that last year with Sony who was trying to stonewall me. I got my case resolved immediately.

And don't you have a receipt from UPS or FedEx, whoever you used for the shipment. If they lost it, they are responsible.

I think the USPS should be involved further in this, other than just the tracking number trace.

That is a shame Steve. You should quit them and don't turn back. I have - Amazon is the way to go for most stuff. If your looking for good processor prices and have a store nearby, Microcenter always has the best prices on processors. For instance, their 3770K is $250.

    Good luck.

Steve, was there a signature required? As mentioned, the USPS must have procedures for this as well. Basically, Newegg is saying the Postal Service did not deliver. A Guy

Gene, I just received my new 3770K from Amazon today. I wish there was a Microcenter newr me, but the closest one is 300-400 miles away, so Amazon it is. Yes, I have the receipt from USPS. But, my Wife is Retired from there. All they will/can do is go by where it was scanned in. The last place was at Newegg. The only thing that can change that is if the carrier says I threw it in the dumpster and just said I delivered it. We all know that is not going to happen. I have been buying the majority of stuff from Amazon since Newegg started saying any motherboard with bent CPU pins is customer damage. I think we all know that is not true. I bought 4 Asus motherboards before I got one that didn't have bent pins right out of the box. I only bought the CPU from Newegg because I wanted the latest production of it and Newegg probably sells more than everyone else put together. But, it is the last one I'll buy from there.

For anyone wanting to know, the CEO of Newegg is Dr. Shih-Chi Lee, and I have his address. I also hope no one will hold it against me if they read this story again here.

Sorry Bill, no signature required. Only a bar code scan. But, you are right about Newegg essentially saying the USPS didn't deliver it.
