One clearly says x64 but the other one has this funny title: PowerISO6. Maybe that is supposed to mean x86.

Update: I now see that it is supposed to mean Version 6.

No reason to get rid of them Mike, they all serve their purpose.

What is it that PowerISO offers that you guys like? I can mount ISO's in Windows 10 tho I never install that way. I extract with 7zip which I need to password certain valuable files.

I like it because you can add files, wallpaper pictures, programs etc, right before you burn the iso, other programs just burn the iso file itself. Not that I`ve really looked into adding files with the other programs. There`s a lot of room on a dvd so I figure why waste it.

PowerIso gives you a lot of options. :)

It isn't just for mounting. Lots of things will do that, including wincdemu and Imdisk.

It is for editing. Very important to have a decent iso handler. There are several, Including WinIso,UltraIso and Gburner.

PowerIso is worth getting while it is free.

PowerISO claims that they can convert image files to .iso. I tried that on a Windows VHD image file and PowerISO crashed. Then I tried it with a Macrium image and it did not even recognize the image. So much for that.

It doesn't mean those kind of proprietary image files, obviously.

It means standard image files, like .img,.ima,.bin,.cue,.daa, etc.
