New case?

    New case?


    not sure if you can help me but i have a Fujitsu Esprimo E5905 Desktop with a Fujitsu D2164 and the original case can only hold 1 hdd and 1 dvd drive i want at least 2 preferably 3 hdd's and 2 dvd drives can any one help me with what case i can get?

    You will have problems. According to the data sheet HERE
    The motherboard form factor (that means size in non tech talk) is "propriety" which means that it is not a standard size and you may not find a case that the motherboard screw holes line up so as you can install it.
    You may have to settle on external USB drives.

    Mounting holes on the motherboard are the least of the problems with that motherboard,

    D2164

    None of the back panel connections or the expansion slots (not to mention the audio ports are on the opposite end of the board) line up to the ATX standard. It is possible that those things line up with a BTX case,

    but finding one is the fun part as BTX never made it.

    I have the Thermaltake Armor full case which can hold 6 drives. The drives are in removable caddies which each have their own 120mm fan on the front.

    Socket 775 boards are cheap these days you might be able to pick one up that your ram etc will work with.

    i alredy have the pc but the case is scratched to f*** and i want to upgrade it
