Taking the side off your case to increases system stability?
I heard that if you take off the side of your case system stability will increase as it helps cooling your computer. Is this a myth?

If the idea is that simply removing the side panel increases stability, then no, that's nonsense.
If you have poor airflow, and you're experiencing problems due to overheating, removing the side panel and using a room fan to blow air on the machine will usually alleviate the problem(s). Lots of guys do it... it's ugly, but it gets the job done.
Typically you'd use this method to diagnose a problem. If the fan solves the issue, you know it's heat related.
I think we have all been there at one stage or another.............those were dark times.......
Last time I used a house fan to cool my PC, a mate threw me a beer, and well, he had very bad aim, and my PC was sprayed with the contents of a large Fosters Lager can. :-(
