I want the Haf-X....
Too bad I just bought my 932 and finished customizing it.
Least I would not have to paint this one

I kind of thought the front fan's LED was going to get on my nerve as I'm not the "gotta have lights" type of person, in fact having an on/off switch was a plus, but I must say I actually like having the LED on. It really looks cool :)
And agin, I can't believe how quiet this case is with these huge fans.
I have told the missus I am buying one when my tax return comes in! She wants a new lounge suite, I want a new case
Yet another discovery....
There has been some talk about cases inducing noise or static in the headphone jacks of the front header. I've experienced this myself with my Antec P182 case.
I'm happy to report that this doesn’t seem to be an issue with the HAF X. Turning the volume way up (without a signal) is just as quiet as having the volume turned all the way down.
Listening to the Japanese import edition of Al Di Meola's of Spledido Hotel (1979) through a pair of Bose Tri-Port headphones, specifically the track "Silent Story in Her Eyes", which has both loud and quiet passages, didn't produce any noise or distortion whatsoever.
To me this says a lot about the electronics of the PCB board used for the front header, especially with regards to signal isolation. Once again, good job Cooler Master.
BTW I have the front header's HDA cable hooked directly to my Creative X-Fi Titanium Pro soundcard. You can read my thoughts about the card and connection here.
We often take things like these for granted, until we need it, only to discover its shortcomings. Ouch….
I post these things that I find so that anybody looking to get the case has an idea of what they’re getting (into).
Peace
Is there any use in placing the special 120 mm fan air duct to cool ONE graphics card?
I don't use it myself as I find my case cool enough. Also I want my case as quiet as possible so I'm just using the fans that can in the case. And like you I've only got one graphic card.
In the end it's a personal choice.
Very nice case kinda jealous as I'm still waiting to build a new system. At least this gives me an idea of a case to take a long look at.
Very well done.
