    Amilo Pa 3515 fans

since there isnt any settings for fans in BIOS then i was wondering if theres any ways to change fans settings. Speedfan shows Fan1-3 on 0 rpm.

any useful programs or tips on how to configure fans without cracking it open (not my computer) will be much preshieated..

soz for not-so-good english but since i only use it on web and not as everyday language, then it will never be perfect or even near-perfect

Unless the fans are connected directly to a fan header on the motherboard and not connected to a molex connector from the power supply, there isn't anything Speedfan or any other software can do.

If they are connected to a molex connector, then there are basically 2 options,

    1. replace it/them with fans that do connect to motherboard fan headers

    2. use a fan controller something like this,

To stop your notebook overheating, have a look at buying a cooler.

I haven't bothered to change the fan settings. Going inside your laptop often messes it up plus it will nullify your warranty. So if anything else goes wrong you won't be under warranty anymore.

Instead a useful solution which i have also used is buying a laptop cooler. They are quite cheap and transportable depending on which one you get. Here's a decent guide with reviews on various ones.
