windows7 taking a while to logon

hi all, i have a dell 1557 i7 laptop, its a nice spec and have had it running nice and quick for sometime, but noticed over the last month or so it takes a little while to logon, im not on a network or anything but after entering my password i get a delay around 7 - 10 seconds before the pc starts to spring to life.

any ideas? startup in msconfig looks ok
