    Adjust for best Performance!

Hi, can anyone help me with Windows 7 when I apply “Adjust for best Performance” in Advance settings, and then when after I use say... bubbles screen saver (or any other screen saver) there is a delay in frame rate, but if I use, Adjust for best Appearance, the graphics frame rate is back to normal fast and smooth!
This does not happen with any other graphics such as Media Player Visualizations or games just when I use the screen savers.
    Thanks.

Sounds like the setting is doing its job. The best performance setting turns off most, if not all visual effects. The best idea is to go down the list and choose for yourself which options you do and don't want.

When you use "Best Performance" you stop using Aero and thus stop using the GPU.
YOU WANT TO BE USING AERO.

Yes, it looks like I must apply Visual Styles on Windows and Buttons!

    Thanks for your time guys.

Just cut out the fancier sliding and fading effects, keeping window intact while dragging (for what?) and translucent rectangle. Those are the real RAM hogs.

You don't need a screen saver with LCD monitors. Use the great new Win7 desktop background slide show. You can get the whole collection of Win7 national versions backgrounds which are some of the most lush pictures ever taken.

Download all the Windows 7 Wallpapers | Microsoft Musings Browse to these from the Desktop Background link by rightclicking Desktop>Personalize. Select All to make a 120 picture slideshow changing every 30 minutes.
