7 hours? - how come?
I'm glad you asked this first because I was wondering. Two SSDs in a raid setup shouldn't take that long. Many people report 4 hours with a regular HDD.

It shouldn't take more than 30-40 minutes, an hour at the most.

Did you install the full NVIDIA chipset from the Downloads page for your computer model, or Nvidia? I suggested this two days ago.

This should solve the NVSTOR error.

Also check the Device Manager to see if any devices are in error with an (!) exclamation mark shown. Chances are your full Nvidia chipset was not provided by the installer and needs to be downloaded and installed.

If this doesn't solve your problem then you need to run the Repair Install as a last resort before clean reinstalling. I have never heard of a Repair install taking 7 hours, or even 2 hours.

+1 on everything Greg said. When the guys right, he's right.

Also, you specifically stated that you had two SSDs. I assumed you meant a RAID setup. Looking back, you didn't mention RAID, so that was my mistake. But now I'm wondering, do you have a SSD or not? What you have listed under hard drives in your specs looks like a Seagate model number.

I suggest taking another look in BIOS for a IDE and AHCI setting. I can't remember off the top of my head where the setting is in my BIOS off the top of my head. If you still can't find the setting (some people don't have it) then do the repair install.
