i just cloned it using seagate disc wizard and followed instructions. When i look at the files on the hard disk it has all the same ones as the old hard disk

What about Hidden Files and Folders?

    Just to check

In Windows explorer go to Organize and click on Folder and search options

then click the View Tab and Click on Show hidden Files and folders then click apply and OK

    Hope This Helps,
    Josh
