For your purposes 4GB is fine.

heavy video editing or just casual? if its casual and not for profit, let me illustrate it better..

    YOUR SPECS = OVERKILL!!!

with that usage, even a core 2 duo heck even a dual core would suffice..

    Hi,

For watching video and listening to music 4GB of memory is more then enough.
If you're serious into video editing it might be beneficial to have more memory but if it's just occasional I would stick with what you have.

Just have a look at the Task Manager how much RAM you're actually using when editing.
If you use 80% or more of you're 4GB then you could go to 8GB first.

What I was trying to say is that with 16GB of RAM you could do a lot more than you are planning.

Bottom line stay with 4GB, more than enough.
