I'm not sure why anyone would use a 3rd party firewall. Maybe someone could explain it to me.

All of the security updates from MS go to fortify the Win7 Firewall which is flawless as far as I can see, not slowing the OS in the slightest. It works so well with MSE that they are both invisible.

It wasn't long ago with XP and Vista I would turn off the Firewall to gain back performance, or try running just the router hardware firewall.

Those days are so gone now I thought everyone was enjoying these permanent new Win7 performance improvements, or else just don't know about them yet.

Classic Start Menu: Start Button appears doubled
